UofA SME Student Chapter 28th Annual Diggers and Duffers Golf Tournament
The University of Arizona SME student chapter annual golf tournament is the perfect opportunity to network while enjoying an afternoon on the amazing and beautifully maintained JW Marriott Starr Pass resort golf course.
For the Golf Tournament of the Season
The Annual Diggers & Duffers Golf Tournament is an ongoing tradition for the University of Arizona’s SME Student Chapter and acts as our primary fundraiser. Throughout the past few years, we have had a dramatic increase in membership and participation, and were even able to send over 40 students to MINEXCHANGE in Denver, Colorado. The proceeds from this tournament are used to directly help student members experience meaningful professional and educational opportunities. These include sending students to MINEXCHANGE 2024 in Phoenix, the Intercollegiate Mining Games in Missouri, and on field trips to mine sites and other educational locations.
